Water/ Sewer Assistance

The City of Metter is accepting applications for a Water/Sewer Assistant. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, be in good physical condition, ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations. Poses a Class III Georgia State water and/or wastewater Certification or both. Applications are available at City Hall at 49 South Roundtree Street, Metter, Georgia. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2024 or until the position is filled.

The pay range for this position is $15.44 hourly to $23.49 hourly.

All job applicants being considered for employment shall be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening test prior to being hired.
