Recreation Maintenace Worker

Candler County Recreation Department has a full-time Recreatio Maintenance Worker. Appluicants must have ewxperience operating zero turn lawn mower and be a high school graduate or equivalent. Applicant's must poissess and maintain a valid driver's license. Duties and responsibilities will include. but are not limited to, maintaining and repairing ball fields, assist in delivering sports equipment to fields , preparing the Strickland building/Gym for rentals, operating a variety of equipment including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and various sports equipment. Must be able to follow oral manual labor. A backgound check and drug test are required prior to employment. Normal hours of operation will be 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours of operation are subject to fluctuate during ball season and may include evenings and weekends. Begginning salary of $14.50 aqn hourly based on experuience and willingness to learn.
