Director of Community Development

The Long County Board of Commissioners is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Community Development to lead strategic planning and development initiatives that will shape the future of one of Georgia's fastest-growing counties.

Reporting to the County Manager, the Director of Community Development will manage and oversee planning, zoning, permitting, code enforcement, and economic development activities. This leadership role is essential in guiding responsible growth while preserving the character and values of Long County.
