Police Officer

The City of Ludowici Police Department is actively seeking GA POST Certified applicants who are interested in Full-time position as a Police Officer. Part-time position as a Police Officer will be considered on Case-by-Case basis.

Salary and Benefits:

• Pay for Police Officer is $20 per hour-paid weekly

• Paid employee only Health Insurance

• Family coverage available at cost of employee

• Employer paid life insurance of $50,000 (officer only)

• Accruable Paid time Off

• Vested after 5 years

• Take-home Vehicle available

Applications may be obtained during the times of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday at the Ludowici Police Department located at 214 South McDonald Street, Ludowici, GA 31316. Qualified applicants may also be expected to complete the follow-on screenings involving criminal background, medical, drug, psychological, physical agility test, and passing a polygraph test.
