The Tattnall County Road Department is currently seeking a dedicated hardworking individual to join our team. To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a focus on increasing efficiency and accountability. It is equally important that they be willing and able to learn new skills and knowledge within the Road Department. Duties include parts running as directed by the mechanics and general labor withinthe shop.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.
Carry tools and equipment to and from storage and work areas
Assist in keeping work area clean
Oil and grease machines
Clean machine and Steam Jenny, solvent, and wiping to tags to prepare for repairs.
Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Punctual, dependable
Valid state vehicle license required
Able to work in a team and produce quality work under light deadlines
Strong Communication skills
initiative and strong analytical skills
Diligent, prioritization skill, and time management
Adaptive learner with a positive attitude
