The City of Lumber City Police Department is seeking dedicated, professional individuals to join our team in serving and protecting our community.

Positions Available:

• Full-Time Police Officers

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 or older

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid Driver's License

• Must pass background check and drug screen

• Georgia POST Certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls

• Enforce laws and ordinances

• Prepare reports and testify in court when necessary

• Build positive relationships within the community
