Meat/Produce Team Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Stocking and Inventory: Unload truck deliveries, move merchandise to the salesfloor, and fill display cases for meat and produce.

• Quality and Date Control: Rotate stock using inventory management techniques, check expiration dates, remove damaged or bad items, and process markdowns. 

• Sanitation and Safety: Clean and sanitize display cases, counters, and tools, while monitoring product temperatures to comply with health regulations.

• Customer Service: Answer customer questions, help locate items, and provide helpful service in the fresh departments.

  
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic knowledge of food safety, product handling, and sanitation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks like lifting and standing for long periods.

• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other store associates and managers.
