Keturah Robinson, Youth Program

Keturah Robinson enrolled in the WIOA Out-of-School Youth Program in January 2022.  She had recently graduated from high school and was seeking additional assistance to enroll and complete college. She began her college journey at Fort Valley State University before transferring to South Georgia Technical College to continue her studies.

During her time in school, WIOA provided critical financial assistance, including support for books, fees, and transportation, helping to ease the burden of travel expenses and allowing her to remain focused on her academic goals.

Keturah recently earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Technology, a significant milestone that reflects her hard work and determination. She has since secured employment as a Legal Assistant with Smith & Harrington and has been accepted to Valdosta State University, where she plans to continue her education. We are incredibly proud of Keturah and all that she has accomplished.

Reflecting on her experience, Keturah shared: “WIOA has truly been a blessing in disguise. They have done so much for me and guided me throughout the process of earning my degree. My case manager, Ms. Kayla, was incredibly supportive and always made sure to stay in contact with me. I don’t know how I would have achieved this without her or the WIOA program.”
