Code Enforcement Officer

The City of Cochran is seeking a code Enforcement officer to join our Public Works team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of Technical duties in support of the City's local code enforcement program; monitors and enforces a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, health and safety, regulations related to zoning, land use, nuisance housing, building codes, health and safety, blight graffiti, water waste, and other maters of public concern; and serves as a resource and provides information on City regulations to property owners, residents, businesses, the general public, and other City departments and divisions.

This position is full-time 40 hours a week. This position is required to obtain a Level 1 certification through the Georgia Association of Code Enforcement (GACE). This position is supervised by the Public Works Director and City Manager.
