ResponsibilitiesSupervises part-time and full-time records office staff members in day-to-day office operations; responsible for the records department in the absence of the Registrar.Responsible for records staff training on operational and banner related processes.Performs degree audits and awarding of degrees in Banner each semester.Serves as point of contact for all aspects of graduation preparations and tracks graduation statistics for the institution.Serves as point of contact for reverse transfer process.Ingress (e-Core/eMajor) coordinator for records office.Collaborates with academic affairs to develop final exam schedule for each semester; responsible for final exam schedule posting on institutions website.Compiling, processing, and submission of Academic Data Collection (ADC) report each semester.Submit degree files to Parchment for diploma printing each semester.Responsible for reviewing and processing Student work-study applications for records office.Represents the records office for college orientation and other registrar related events.Assist in Banner testing for system upgrades, functionality changes when necessary.Serves as member of Degree Works functional team to include scribing changes for each academic catalog, upgrades audit module and provides staff training.Oversee the auditing of new admission applicants for each semester.Assist with student registration and related problem-solving duties.Assist with ensuring college compliance with records retention, storage and disposal policies.Performs other enrollment management and registrar related duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsKnowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with two years experience or service.Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
Preferred QualificationsThree years prior experience in enrollment management.One year of Registrar/Records office related experience in higher education setting.Five years prior experience with Banner or similar student information system.
