Automotive Service Worker

The City of Dublin is accepting applications for a team player with a positive

attitude. This individual will work as an Automotive Service Worker in the

Mechanical Maintenance Department. Applicants work involves the repair,

maintenance, and servicing of all City vehicles, small engine repair, and

equipment. Work requires the use of specialized tools and special types of

equipment and gauges.

High School Diploma or GED with verifiable maintenance and repair experience

of vehicle and heavy equipment repair is required. Other training or experience,

if evaluated as equivalent, may qualify the applicant for the position. Ability to

read and understand written instructions and to write necessary records. Some

experience in automotive service work. Possession of a valid State of Georgia

driver’s license is required. Prefer Diesel maintenance and repair experience.

Must provide their own basic hand tools.

Starting salary is $17.52 an hour. An extensive fringe benefit package including

health, dental and life insurance is also offered.
