Applications for the position of Senior Customer Service Representative will be taken until position is filled.
City of Glenville is accepting applications for a Senior Customer Service Representative. This posiition is responsible for maintating a daily cash balance, prepares and balances deposits, oversees the accuracy of meter readings, pursues collection of permits and licenses, performs routine clerical, accounting and administrative work in acccounts recievable and general revenue administration at City Hall.
High School diploma or GED; suplemented by one (1) year of experience as a customer service representative or in a related position or equivalent education, training and/or experince which provides the requisite knowledge of municiple codes, rules and regulations pertaining to this position;
Ability to acquire working knowing of municipal codes; reles and regulations pertaining to this position;
3. Ability to perform manual and computerized record keeping;
Ability to establish effective working relationships with the general public;
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
Ability to work with frequent interuptions.
Skill in computers, including all Microsoft Office Products; Quicks, word processing, and spreadsheet software; central financial computer; 10-key calculator, phone, fax and copy machines;
Ability to perform multiple duties (multi-task).
