Branch Manager

The Vidalia branch of the Toombs Libraries is

seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and public

service-oriented individual to be the manager

at the library. Th is job will manage the day-today

operations of the public library in Vidalia

(Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library) and

supervise branch staff and the maintenance of the

facility.

The job requires planning programs for all

ages, leading programs and the ability to switch

between tasks while providing excellent customer

service.

The Branch Manager will provide assistance to

the library visitors in a professional manner and

create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

A Bachelors’ degree is required and the pay is

$32,000 per year plus Health Benefi ts and Teacher

Retirement System benefi ts. Th is is a fun job with

a great deal of opportunity to be creative, form

meaningful community relationships and provide

opportunities and memories for library users.
