Recreation Director

The Soperton - Treutlen County Recreation Authority is seeking a Recreation Director. This a full-time position with hours varying with the different sports/seasons and may include evenings and weekends.

This position is to manage all aspects of the Soperton - Treutlen County Recreational activities. Duties include, but are not limited to , managing registration for each sport/season, crweating teams, and scheduling games and tournaments. Also requitred of the position is hiring and payinf umpires, scorekeepers, concession workers, and ground keepers. The position will require maintenance of all recreational parks preparing playing fields, mowing, weeding, and fertilizing of grass on the fields, in the parks and the surrounding grounds and preparing the fields for each game according to the sport/season. Equipment must be managed including, purchasing materials and supplies, preparing food, and accounting for sales and reciepts.
