Jail Administrator

The Appling Co. Sheriff's office is seeking a dedicated and experienced Jail Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The candidate will ensure compliance with all regulations, manage staff, and maintain a safe environment for both inmates and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and operation of the jail facility.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective management

• Supervise and train jail staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations.

• Manage budgets and resources efficiently.

Qualifications

• POST certified Law enforcement of Detention Officer.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corrections or law enforcement.

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
