JOB DESCRIPTION

The City of Cochran is soliciting applications from qualified applicants for the position of Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk. Applications and resumes will be recieved at City Hall until Monday, May 6, 2024 @ 4:00 PM.

City Hall is located at 112 West Dykes Street near douwtown Cochran. In addition to the City application form, applicants are encouraged to include a cover letter and resume with at least professional references. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk reports to the City Clerk at City Hall and is responsible for processing and verifying invoices, working with department heads and vendors, issuing purchase orders, processing bi-weekkly payroll and other including assistance with utility collections.
