Animal Caretaker

The City of Metter is accepting applications for a Part Time Animal Caretaker at the Metter Animal Shelter. This will be a PART TIME position.

Minimum Qualifications are:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent,

• a valid Georgia Driver Licenses, and

• must be in good physical condition.

Applications are available at city hall at 49 South Rountree Street. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The deadline for submitting applications until the position is filled. A job description is available upon request. Pay for this position will be $14.00 hourly. All job applicants being considered for employment shall be required to pass a drug and alcohol-screening test prior to being hired.
