JOB DESCRIPTION
The individual will be responsible for responding to and mitigating emergency and non-emergency calls. The firefighter will operate according to the guidelines, ordinances, laws and policies imposed by Dodge County Board of Commissioners Office, Dodge County Fire Department, and NFPA recommended standards. The firefighter shall maintain performance standards as required by the Department, as well as perform duties such as, but not limited to, assess emergency medical needs, and administer treatment; fire suppression, extinguishment, and other fire related operations; extricate individuals from hazardous situations, and clean and maintain fire station grounds and equipment. The firefighter shall participate in all necessary trainings and drills. The Firefighter shall be knowledgeable with the streets, roads, and geography within Dodge County.
$37,322-45,607/ yr (depending on qualifications)
