Job Title: Appraiser 1

Location: Hazlehurst, GA 31539

Salary: $10.50 Hourly

Job Requirements: Desired applicant must be 21 years of age or older. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. Appraiser 1 Certification from the Georgia Department of Revenue preferred. Opportunity to reach required certification will be made available; certification must be obtained within 18 months from date of hire. Applicant should have knowledge and understanding of property laws, policies, and procedures for Georgia. Individuals should be able to interact with the public, provide good customer service, have an understanding of basic office equipment and computer skills. Applicants must be able to complete onsite field checks and perform other related duties as assigned. Applicants must be able to work with the public and respond to requests in a timely manner. Applicants must possess a valid Georgia Driver's license and maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
