JOB DESCRIPTION
The Johnson County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Center Director.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for administering the county's senior citizen
programs, services, operations, and activities. This position is also responsible for ensuring the
efficient delivery of mandated services.

SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Citizens Center Director supervises the Food Services Supervisor and all staff. The incumbent reports directly to the County Administrator. Staff is assigned work by the Senior Citizens Center Director in terms of general instructions consistent with department goals and objectives. The work is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of department activities.
GUIDELINES: The Senior Citizens Center Director must comply with the Older Americans Act, the Department of Human Services/Division of Aging Services Non-Medicaid HCBS Manual, HIPAA regulations, and the Heart of Georgia Altamaha Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging Gateway Policies and Procedures. These guidelines are generally clear and specific, but may require some interpretation in their application.
