JOB DESCRIPTION

The Laurens County Library is seeking applicants for a full-time Administrative Assistant position. . The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Manager and the Director to ensure the smooth operation of the business office.

  • Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm

  • The Starting salary is $16 per hour.

  • Benefits include State Health Insurance and Flexible Benefits, Annual Leave, and enrollment in the Teacher's Retirement System of Georgia

  • High School diploma or equivalent is needed.

  • Proficiency in computer applications , including word processing and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, is required.

  • Effective writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
