Housekeeping

This is to provide clean and safe enviroment for County employees and visitors to the Courthouse, Commissioner's Office, Tax Assessor's Office, County Agent's Office, Juvenile Justice Office, Solid Waste Office, Board of Elections Office, Judicial Annex (Including all offices and courtrooms), and the Reidsville Branch of the Tattnall County Library. Works under general supervision of the County Manager.

30 hours per week, Monday thru Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collects all trash and refuse from assigned areas throughout shift.

• Maintains all cleaning supplies under safe and sanitary conditions.

• Cleans and sanitize all bathrooms, public areas, and offices.

• Maintains good housekeeping and sanitation standards.

• Maintains the facility by assuring its contents are free from dust, dirt, and debris.

• Maintains all floors are clean and free from debris and spillage.

• Notifies Maintenance and or Supervisor of any work requisitions needed.

• Performs othre duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Display knowledge of equipment, material, and supplies used in janitorial sevices.

• Anticipates and acts to maintain a safe work enviroment. Incorporates safety risk management standards into daily work practices.

• Strong work ethic and team player.

• Assures that work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedule.

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Sucessful candidate must possess a driver's License issued by the State of Georgia.
