After working with her WIOA Case Manager to plan and set objectives that would help her achieve her educational and employment goals, she decided to attend Georgia Southern University with the hopes of earning a degree in Marketing. While in the WIOA program, Ashlyn participated in Youth Work Experience and also completed Occupational Skills Training. When Adult WIOA funding came available, Ashlyn was co-enrolled in the ITA program. Through the ITA program, she received financial assistance with tuition, books, supplies, and transportation. In December 2023, Ashlyn graduated with a 3.4 GPA from Georgia Southern and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. She has since accepted the position of Marketing Manager at Jincy’s Southern Exchange.
