MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Alaina West enrolled in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Out-of-School Youth program to receive help to obtain her GED. Since being in the program, Alaina has worked diligently towards earning her diploma. She completed her Adult Education Classes passing all parts of her GED exam, and received her diploma on June 24, 2021. Alaina is currently working at Ace Hardware in Mt. Vernon and plans to enroll in Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia to become a Dental Hygienist. We are so proud of Alaina’s accomplishments, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for her.

Alaina voiced her appreciation for WIOA and her case manager by saying, “Ms. Kayla and Job Training Unlimited helped me make a huge accomplishment in my life by not only providing financial assistance, but always pushing me to do my best and having faith in me! I can’t thank them enough for that.”
