MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Rosemary Franklin, a resident of Montgomery County, enrolled in the WIOA In-School Youth Program in January 2026 while attending the 12th grade at Treutlen County High School. Her goals were to successfully complete high school and continue her education through college.

With guidance from the WIOA program, Rosemary chose to participate in Dual Enrollment at Southeastern Technical College, where she pursued training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). WIOA supported her educational journey by covering the costs of required fees, uniforms, and her CNA program cap and gown, as well as providing transportation stipends for her clinical assignments.

Through her hard work and determination, Rosemary successfully completed the CNA program and earned her CNA certification from Southeastern Technical College. She also graduated from Treutlen County High School and received her high school diploma.

This fall, Rosemary will continue her education at Southeastern Technical College, where she plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. We are incredibly proud of Rosemary's commitment to her education, her strong work ethic, and her perseverance in simultaneously earning her high school diploma and a valuable postsecondary credential. We look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in the future.
