Victoria Repondsia Thompson enrolled in the WIOA ITA program in January 2024. She was attending Wiregrass Technical College’s Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Being a single

mom of 2 and only employed part-time, she needed financial assistance to assist

her in completing her program of study. WIOA provided her with transportation stipends,

daycare assistance and paid for her uniforms and testing fees. Victoria completed the LPN

program in August 2024 and went on to take and pass the NCLEX exam to receive her

Licensed Practical Nursing License. She is now employed full-time at Crisp Regional Hospital.

Victoria had this to say about her time in the WIOA Program. “If it wasn’t for the WIOA

program, I would not have been able to finish school. Thanks to everyone at Job Training

Unlimited and WIOA for meeting my every need. Because of their assistance, I successfully finished and am now working as an LPN in the ICU.”
