WILCOX COUNTY

Ashley Smith enrolled in the WIOA In-School Youth Program in April 2025 as a 17-year-old junior at Wilcox County High School. She sought additional support to successfully complete high school and guidance in selecting a college and career path. Throughout her participation in the program, Ashley remained committed to her academic goals and consistently prioritized her education. Her dedication and hard work resulted in her graduating with a high school diploma and a 3.5 GPA.

With the support and encouragement she received through the WIOA In-School Youth Program, Ashley was accepted to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), where she plans to pursue a degree in Environmental Studies. Her accomplishments reflect her determination and commitment to building a successful future.
